A list of Clothing & Retexturing rules for the server. These rules are subject to change which may include amending existing rules, adding or removing rules from the list.
Below is a contrasted set of rules in which needs to be followed when upload custom modded skins or textures in the AGRP server. This never before seen system in MTA allows the player to upload custom skin mods (.dff .txd) through the in game server's Mod Menu which then is reviewed and either accepted or denied. If this skin mod is accepted both the client (you) and the serverside (other people around you) can see this mod. The fantastic thing about this mod is it doesn't replace any objects, skins or any GTA resource for that matter. These are what is known as add-on mods. In which they are a physically new item, that does not replace an already existing one.
In order for us to maintain the professional standard and protect those who use the server in general there are a list of rules that are followed. Admins review your requests in game (like the Map Manager) and they can preview, edit, deny or accept your mod. This is simply to stop abuse of the system and stop offensive material being implemented into the server itself.
As a good will gesture we increased our default skin slots from 3 to 5. Skin slots can be purchased via F10 menu. Skin slots are bound to your account, not to your character.
REQUIREMENTS
You can visit a clothing store (Binco Clothing in Ganton - /gps binco for location).
Upon walking inside you can speak with the NPC, Michelle Garner by right-clicking on her and clicking on “New Ped Mods”.
You will then be presented with the Mod UCP where you can see your skins or public skins. Pressing on the “Upload” button will present you with the menu below.
You can upload a skin by following the instructions above. So you can go to your MTA Directory (right-click your MTA Shortcut > open file location > mods > deathmatch > resources > ag_mod_loader > upload > skins.)
Help
Mod File Name - refers to the files in the upload/skins folder - Note that both TXD and DFF should be named the same.
Examples:
suitman.txd suitman.dff Good
suitman.txd suitman1.dff Bad
Mod Description - Should follow Requirements listed above
Drop Down Menu;
1. Public - Uploading this mod type will allow for everyone to purchase the clothing (skin) and doesn't take up a skin slot.
2. Personal - Uploading this mod type will allow for just you to purchase the clothing (skin) and takes up a skin slot.
3. Faction - Uploading this mod type will allow for faction leaders to assign to /duty and doesn't take up a skin slot.
4. Server - Uploading this mod type will allow for no one to purchase the clothing (skin) and is reserved for server-use.
Skins do not get deleted after being implemented for various reasons, so upload carefully or purchase more slots as you only have 5 to begin with.
Please see Ref. 1.7 for more details regarding any retexture/skin mod. The use of erotic skin mods/retextures for public events need UA permission if it affects the public.
If the content being uploaded has been stolen and was never meant for public release, the mod will be deleted from the server and the uploader (knowingly) uploaded the mod will be blacklisted from using the Mod Uploader until proven to be a safe uploader after requesting an unban from UAT.
Offensive skins such as deemed organizations that are profoundly or directly offensive (KKK, German Nazi uniforms) and anything of the likes are forbidden and may seek UA approval if its means is justified and does not directly affect involved parties in an offensive manner that is in a literal context.
This one is pretty much self-explanatory. The use of status individual or characters such as but not limited to;
*There are exceptions to the aforementioned in the cases of special events or UA approved situations/character developments or costumes with a purpose.
Before uploading any mod please ensure its use is of realism such as mutants, wolves, vampires and any other relation of the supernatural is strictly forbidden. As stated in the requirements amputees or any physical deformity and the likeness or relativeness of such material needs to be directly addressed through the UA as this technically falls under the Ref. 2.7 Special Character rules.
If your character is portraying that of a teenager or early adulthood but yet are using the model of a minor (after being confirmed by UA) and involve yourself in acts of erotica this is a strict violation of community guidelines and most laws. Please seek Ref. 2.24 Prohibited & Ref. 6.5 Minor/Teenage
Public vehicle mods can requested through the Vehicle Management Team. VMT will then test the vehicle for its collisions etc. and Upper Administration/Economics Team will then decide whether or not the vehicle will be uploaded for public use.
Public use vehicles are vehicles that can be purchased from the dealership (or VMT can assign these mods to vehicles as a dealership vehicle, meaning all vehicles with LibraryID will have that custom model).
For a full list of public add-on vehicle please visit https://ardicgaming.com/mta/lib/vehicles under the New (ADDED) section.
Personal vehicle mods can be purchased for 2800GCs or for $300,000. This allows for people to have a chance to both obtain it for free (in-game currency) rather than having to purchase GCs (real-life currency). Personal vehicle mods are assigned to your VIN (vehicle identifier) meaning that only you have this mod assigned, no one else (unless they upload the same mod if you used a mod from online and they assign it to their vehicle). Personal vehicle mods are also seen by everyone in the server.
Let's take for example you own a 2012 Ford Explorer that you bought from the dealership and your VIN (can be found in /stats under vehicles) is 679. You can purchase a vehicle mod for vehicle 679 and it will be seen by everyone but only you can have the mod. So if John Doe buys a 2012 Ford Explorer from the dealership, he won't have the custom vehicle mod, it will be whatever the vehicle was assigned with from the dealer (Huntley for example).
The vehicle mod needs to fit similar requirements to that of the skin uploads.
Vehicles that have a personal vehicle mod assigned can still be stolen, but these vehicles will have the following installed for free;
Level 3 Anti Theft System
Level 4 Alarm System
Level 3 Lock System
